I bring you the following great tidings of joy:   Gustavo Hernandez, A+ Academy, class of 2014, has been cast in a Co-Starring, reoccurring role in the new USA Network TV show, “Queen of the South.” Gustavo was in our first production of the A+ Theatre, Our Town, and continues to coach our actors in rehearsals. Lady Eagles Basketball Team Moves Into the Final 4

CONGRATULATIONS to our Inspired Vision Lady Eagles, who moved into the final four of the state tournament after their win on Monday! The Lady Eagles will be playing in the final 4 playoff game this Thursday, 2/16/17, at 6:30 pm at St. Paul Preparatory in Arlington, Texas. A+ Charter Schools’ Scholars Earn Top Rankings in First Chess Tournament

by Walter Clinton Chess Club Advisor & Math Curriculum Specialist Last Saturday, the Inspired Vision Elementary chess team participated in their first chess tournament. Here are the results:   They had only one team member, Jayden V., in the Kinder-3rd grade section. He was undefeated with 4 wins, one draw, and no losses (4.5 points). A+ Academy Elementary | 100 Days of School Monday, January 30, marked the 100th day of school for the 2016/2017 school year, and our Kindergarten Classes at A+ Academy Elementary decided the only way to celebrate the awesome occasion was with a fashion show, of course! Students strutted their t-shirt and poster creations down the hallways early Monday morning in celebration of the 100th day of school, as well as a reminder of the importance in coming to school every day!
